Exciting News for Families
Let’s celebrate the return of a few of the attractions and activities Woods Hole has missed:
- Woods Hole Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt – Both little kids and big kids will enjoy the Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt at Taft’s Playground in Woods Hole on Saturday, April 16th at 11:30 am. This wonderful community event, sponsored by Pie in the Sky, is open to everyone!
- Woods Hole Science Aquarium – Families will once again be able to enjoy and explore the spectacular collections of ocean creatures at the local aquarium. Although a firm reopening date has not yet been set, the aquarium hopes to welcome its visitors later this spring and there will be a seal back in the outside tank!
Restaurants Reopening in April
Spring has also arrived on the food scene and several Woods Hole restaurants that closed their doors for the season are beginning to welcome back their patrons!
- Quicks Hole Taqueria – The farm-to-table restaurant on the ground floor of the Woods Hole Inn offers tacos, burritos, quesadillas and salads made with fresh seafood which patrons can eat on the lively patio overlooking the harbor. This spring they will be debuting a fresh new look, so make sure you pop in to see it!
- Landfall Restaurant – A great option for waterfront dining, Landfall’s menu features both land and sea options in their dining room and on their patio. The views from Landfall can’t be beat!
