Whether it’s December or August, Coffee Obsession – a latte lovers hangout in the village of Woods Hole — is often packed with happy customers. In the winter, Coffee O is a cozy spot to drink a cocoa royal and read a book and in the summer, Coffee O provides an air-conditioned space to cool off and surf the web while sipping on an iced coffee.
In between a few of my jobs, I frequently find myself seeking out Coffee O as a place to relax and refuel. I love being able to order my favorite drink (iced hazelnut coffee with tons of soy milk) while working on a blog post or uploading my work to Facebook or Pinterest.
Aside from coffee, Coffee O offers an endless list of delectable drinks in addition to sandwiches, soups, quiche, and many other baked goodies – my favorite being an Almond Florentine.
Coffee O also sells many local artists work – ranging from pottery, paintings, drawings, photography, and sculptures—a nice selection that captures the Woods Hole vibe.
The original location of Coffee O is in downtown Falmouth. The first shop was such a big hit among both locals and tourists, that a second shop was opened here in Woods Hole. Both stores have a definite laid-back feel, highlighted by earthy colors and eccentric décor.
On summer weekends, musicians gather on the porch and celebrate the warm weather with an open air jazz jam. Great in any season, don’t miss this café in the heart of Woods Hole village.
