Cape Cod Treasure

Less than a mile away from downtown Woods Hole rests the small but beautiful Stoney Beach. Although Stoney Beach may not be as big as Nobska Beach or other beaches in Falmouth, this recluse is a cherished Woods Hole spot. For kids, Stoney beach is exceptional for it’s lack of rocks and waves. Kids also love the jetty. I frequently babysit a few kids at Stoney Beach and their favorite activity is to clamber down to the end of the jetty and catch fish and crabs in their buckets. Nobska Beach

Not far from the village of Woods Hole lies one of the best beaches in Falmouth – Nobska. A white-sand crescent, nestled in the rocky shoreline and under the shadow of scenic Nobska Light, this iconic Cape Cod beach looks out over Vineyard Sound.
