Kids flocked to Woods Hole this summer to play with a new app which was designed to lead young people on a scavenger hunt of science, discovery and plain old fun all over the kid-friendly village of Woods Hole. The free app is easily downloaded on your mobile phone, and offers fun for all ages. Renaissance Fair in Woods Hole Dec 6th

Great Winter for Snow on Cape Cod

It’s been a great winter for snow on Cape Cod with so many storms down here that we are just getting used to them!  Sadly, many winters it does not snow much because we are so close to the warm Gulf Stream.  But this year has been a great one for sledding on the Golf Course, skating on local ponds, enjoying winter sunsets with snow in the foreground as we keep getting new layers of white snow. Chalkley has been fishing Cape Cod’s waters for over 20 years – so he knows all the tricks to fishing in this area. Chalkley grew up in Virginia and began fishing the James River as a young kid.
