Probably the biggest question everyone asked me when the restaurant is closed and winter sets in – is”what do you do”. Well – we do take a vacation for sure. September 15 to October 13, 2013 Each year the Woods Hole Business Association sponsors the Calcutta Fishing Derby. “The goal” says Don Este, “is to get out on the water and have a good time.” Don is co-owner of the Landfall Restaurant which is where the weigh station is located. The derby begins at 12:01 AM, Sunday September 15, 2013 and ends, Sunday, October 15, 2013 at midnight. The weigh station times are between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM each day.
