Woods Hole Historical Museum Discover science in Woods Hole during a one-hour guided walking tour! Tours are offered Tuesday through Friday (July 5 to September 1) and Wednesday through Saturday (September 6 to September 23) by the Woods Hole Historical Museum. During the tour participants learn about the illustrious history of science in Woods Hole and the groundbreaking research that is still carried out to this day. Woods Hole Antique Boat Show

Woods Hole Historical Museum will be holding its Model Boat Show on Saturday and Sunday, April 22 and 23. Scale models will be exhibited in six buildings along Water Street, and others will be in the water at two locations. Races of radio-controlled sailboats will be held in Eel Pond. A pool is built on the museum lawn for children to sail boats that they build from simple kits. Falmouth Road Race

For 44 years the Falmouth Road Race has brought thousands of people from all over the world to the town of Falmouth. It’s amazing to see how quickly the town transforms as participants, coaches, and families crowd the streets. In total, the race is about seven miles long. The race begins at the Captain Kidd in Woods Hole and winds around Nobska Lighthouse to finally finish along Grand Avenue at Falmouth Heights Beach.
