AUDITION NOTICE The Woods Hole Theater Company will hold auditions for the thriller, “The Birds” by Conor McPherson, from a story by Daphne du Maurier, Sunday June 28 at 2 pm, 
Monday June 29 at 7 pm, and Tuesday June 30 at 7 pm at the Woods Hole Community Hall, 68 Water Street, Woods Hole.  Director is William Kennedy. There are roles for a woman late forties/fifties

The last time the Eel Pond froze over for skating was 2004, and the last time we saw this much snow fall in Woods Hole was probably the Blizzard of 1978.  That’s right, it has been a tough winter in Woods Hole — with lots of snow, shoveling, ice, below zero temperatures and arctic winds.
