Endangered Species Day Event May 18 at Woods Hole Science Aquarium

Saturday, May 18, is all about North Atlantic right whales, sea turtles and Atlantic salmon – three endangered species found off our coast. NOAA’s Woods Hole Science Aquarium will be open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in recognition of National Endangered Species Day to showcase what’s being done to recover these rare animals. Santa to Arrive by Research Vessel December 15 for Woods Hole Science Aquarium’s Holiday Event

While Santa Claus may use a sleigh to get around, he will be arriving by research vessel this year for his annual visit to the Woods Hole Science Aquarium on Saturday, December 15, 2018. The special event provides an opportunity to visit on a Saturday, when the Aquarium is usually closed, and enjoy some special activities. The Aquarium, operated by NOAA’s Northeast Fisheries Science Center, is located at 166 Water Street in Woods Hole and will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for this special event. Free Films in Woods Hole – Saturday, September 15 as part of The Sea Around Us Weekend

As part of the The Sea Around Us: Celebrating The Legacy of Rachel Carson Weekend in Woods Hole.
