Science Made Public is an annual, summertime series of publicly accessible talks by scientists and engineers at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. All talks take place on Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m. in WHOI’s Ocean Science Exhibit Center, 15 School Street, Woods Hole. Woods Hole Science Stroll

On Saturday, August 6, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., the nonprofit organizations of Woods Hole have joined together to present a free public day of interactive science along Water Street. Explore science on the streets of Woods Hole and an get up close view of a working research vessel and a Coast Guard rescue boat. Ocean Science Exhibit Center Open for the Season

The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) Ocean Science Exhibit Center is open for another fun and engaging summer season. Visitors to the Ocean Science Exhibit Center will learn about what’s happening with the world’s ocean and the innovative ocean science and engineering being done by WHOI researchers. “There are many hands-on exhibits that let visitors learn about WHOI research and the vehicles and tools developed here at WHOI,” said Ocean Science Exhibit Center Manager Kathy Patterson. Spring is Coming: Daffodil Days in Woods Hole

Spring is right around the corner here in Woods Hole, and it’s a perfect time to visit Cape Cod and especially Woods Hole as the daffodils bloom in Spohr Gardens and all along Woods Hole Road.  The cherry trees pop at about the same time (late April to early May depending on the year) and this year we are gathering in Woods Hole on May 7, 2016 for a the third annual traditional music festival organized by Arts Falmouth.
